The company policy aims to reduce the environmental impact of, and prevent pollution by its working methods.

Matrix Cleaning Systems operates within the framework of internationally recognised environmental standards. The processes undertaken are evaluated as to the impact on the environment and environmental management programmes are initiated or modified to address principle concerns.

Environmental management programmes are the means by which Matrix Cleaning Systems resources and implements its environmental objectives and targets. The environmental management programmes have the unqualified support of the Proprietor, who ensure that environmental policy is communicated to and understood by all employees.

The company plans for continual improvement in its environmental performance through the following objectives and activities.

• Operating in full compliance with all applicable environmental legislation relative to products, processes and activities.
• Minimization of waste and effective use of energy sources, including assessment of substances and materials for reuse and recycling.
• Environmental evaluation of new developments in technology, processes, substances and materials and the application of best practical environmental options and techniques.
• Encourage employees, suppliers and customers to understand and recognize their obligations regarding environmental protection and continual improvement.

The company will inform suppliers, customers and any associated party through a process of education, training and communication, of improvement objectives.
