North Tees Hospital Trust
North Tees Hospital has recently taken delivery of 24 steam cleaning machines supplied by Ankef Limited.
They consist of 2 x SDV8000 and 22 x SDV2800 manufactured and supplied by Matrix Cleaning Systems - the UK’s only manufacturer of a range of steam cleaning machines.
Utilising steam as an effective cleaning tool to improve infection control is a highly desirable and productive method. Tests prove that high temperature steam is not only an excellent tool in the ongoing pursuit of cleanliness improvements but is also an excellent method of reducing the risk of such bugs as MRSA, VRE and C Dif.
A full and comprehensive training and installation programme has now been completed and excellent results can already be directly attributed to the system.
Ankef is at the forefront of cleaning equipment supply including large scrubbers dryers to vacuum cleaners throughout the north of England.
Sodexho Machine Purchase
We purchased a Matrix machine in 2006 for use at Canon UK Ltd’s Head Office in Reigate, Surrey.
It has proved to be a very useful piece of equipment. The time and effort taken for periodic cleaning tasks, such as washroom deep cleans, has been greatly reduced, and the end result is impressive.
The whole Matrix team have been consistently helpful and efficient from the outset. In particular, we have been impressed by the ease of arranging training for our staff. This was swiftly followed up with the arrival of certificates for those involved.
